SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – May 2, 2016 – PublicCity PR (PCPR), a Southfield-based public relations agency specializing in media and community relations, is pleased to announce it has been hired to manage and execute public relations activities for the 2016 UAW-GM Spirit of Detroit HydroFest, taking place on the Detroit River for three days, beginning on Friday, August 26 to Sunday, August 28.

PublicCity PR will support Detroit Riverfront Events’ efforts in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the running of the premier hydroplane race on the Detroit River, which first took place in 1916. PCPR will be responsible for all media relations activities, as well as assisting with the event’s sponsorship and community partnerships initiatives.
